MyPact

Security

We never hold or see your private keys. You stay in control.

Your wallet stays yours

If you signed in with email or Google, we created a secure wallet for you automatically. It's tied to your account, secured by Privy, and you don't need to manage it. MyPact cannot access your wallet or move your funds.

If you connected your own wallet (e.g. MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet), your private key never leaves your device. We only request signatures for actions you choose, such as approving an agreement or releasing funds.

Where the funds are

In Escrow agreements, funds are held by the agreement's automatic rules on the blockchain — not by MyPact. We never custody your money. When enough parties approve, the funds are released directly to the payee. No person or company can change the outcome.

What you’re signing

When you "Sign off," your approval is recorded permanently on the blockchain. It cannot be altered or deleted. This is a technical record, not a legal signature in the traditional sense. We show you a clear summary before you confirm.

Testnet first

You can create agreements in test mode (Sepolia) with no real money. When you're ready, you can use live mode (Base) for real funds. We make the choice clear when you create an agreement.

Upgrades and audits

MyPact's agreement rules are upgradeable — we can release fixes and improvements without requiring users to migrate. Upgrade authority is controlled by a multi-signature wallet requiring multiple independent approvals. Like all software, even audited code can contain bugs. We will publish audit reports when available. Use the test network to verify behavior before moving significant funds to the live network.
